Los Alamitos Clinic Awarded Best In Health & Medical For Third Straight Year

Los Alamitos, CA April 1, 2017-Lice Clinics Alamitos has been selected for the 2017 Best Business of Los Alamitos Award in the Health & Medical category.  This is the third straight year the clinic has received this prestigious award and the clinic has been honored with this award for all three years that it has been opened.

Each year, the Best Businesses of Los Alamitos Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business category.  These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and the community.  These exceptional companies help make the Los Alamitos area a great place to live, work, and play.

Owners Scott and Marlene Weiss were presented the award in a ceremony last week. “We exist to make a difference in our community and allows families to sleep well at night,” said Marlene.  Scott added that “head lice effects approximately 1 in 20 children in the U.S. We have successfully treated over 5,000 families representing over 400 schools since our clinic opened up.  We are very proud of the fantastic reputation we have established within all the school districts and pediatrician offices in our territory of Long Beach, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Cerritos, Cypress, Whittier, Downey, Signal Hill, Norwalk, and Bellflower. We have donated over $15,000 in services and products to these local communities and we will continue to focus on our mission of making a difference and giving back to the communities we serve.”

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category.  The 2017 Best Business of Los Alamitos Award program focuses on quality rather than quantity.  Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Best Business of Los Alamitos Program and data provided by third parties.
